With your days being full of amazing activities and new experiences, you’re going to need a great place to lay your head come nighttime! A good nights sleep is integral to enjoying your days and so we work with only the best hostels throughout Eastern Canada in order to achieve this.
We choose to stay in backpackers’ hostels throughout our tours because of the warm, friendly atmosphere from staff and guests alike, great facilities and, of course, to keep your costs as low as possible.
Moose pre-books your accommodation so you don’t have to worry about anything other than having a great time!
- We reserve a single bed per passenger in shared hostel dorm rooms. If you prefer to stay in a private room or an alternative location this must be booked independently and you must let Moose know to avoid double bookings. – If you book a private room or alternative location please reserve a basic tour as accommodation costs cannot be transferred from an inclusive tour.
- Accommodation costs are included in the price of our inclusive tour, if you have reserved a basic tour then payment is due directly to the hostels upon check-in.
- Accommodation before and after your tour must be booked independently. Moose will only book a bed on the last day of the tour if you finish in Moncton. (Puffin and Newfie tours).

Hostel staff are some of the best in the business – they’re often travellers themselves and will go out of their way to make sure you have a comfortable stay. Ask them for local recommendations for restaurants, bars and clubs – you know, the ones that the tourists don’t usually hear about!
Hostels often have cheap bicycle rental if you fancy exploring a little further afield, just ask the front desk. Other facilities can include private lockers, laundry, full kitchens, bbqs and sometime even bars and games rooms! If there wasn’t so much to see and do outside you might just want to hang out and meet people inside!
