On our Snowplow tour you’ll spend 8 days exploring Montréal, Québec City, Mont-Tremblant and Ottawa. We’ll visit beautiful Montmorency Falls – when they’re frozen you can walk right to the base! Speaking of frozen, check out the amazing ice sculptures at Québec and Ottawa’s winter carnivals and take a tour of the Hôtel de Glace, the famous ice hotel in Québec.
Skate on the world’s largest ice-rink – the Rideau Canal. Ski or snowboard the Laurentian Mountains in Mont-Tremblant, check out Canadian wildlife enjoying the snow in Parc Omega and try some typical Canadian treats to keep your energy up. We recommend the maple snow taffy and beavertails!

Our wintertime adventure begins early with a pick-up at your hostel. After a friendly welcome from your Moose guide, we head towards Montréal. Our first road-side stop is the Big Apple (be sure to try their famous apple pie!). We will arrive in Montreal in the afternoon and your guide will take the group on a city walk, showing you the unique sights this beautiful city has to offer. Be sure to eat out tonight – Montréal is an important cultural centre with a fantastic food scene. Onwards to Québec City today. We will stop en-route and visit Montmorency Falls. As stunning in the winter as it is in the summer, Montmorency Falls is higher than Niagara Falls! This afternoon your guide will take you on a walking tour of Quebec City. The Carnaval de Québec is one of the largest winter festivals in the world and a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors! This evening we’ll have a group dinner in our hostel; feel free to relax or help with cooking. We’ll head out for a fireworks display tonight! (Dinner Included).
Enjoy a free day today with your new travel friends; this is your opportunity to really experience the Carnival! Grab a hot chocolate, stroll along the charming streets, witness snow & ice sculptures, and indugle in some winter activities, local food, and music!
We are heading to Mont-Tremblant today right after a stop at the incredible Hôtel de Glace – Québec’s ice hotel! We’ will take a tour of the hotel (each room is decorated differently and lit beautifully) and visit the ice bar if you fancy a cold beverage in a glass made of ice. Be sure to dress warm! We will check into our accomodation in Mont-Tremblant this afternoon and enjoy some free time. This evening we will have another group dinner and relax with some group fun. (Dinner Included).
We are up bright and early to journey to Mont-Tremblant Resort, a beautiful ski village located in the Laurentian Mountains. You are free to ski, snowboard, tube, or just enjoy the beauty of the winter village (not included). This evening, we will have a group dinner back at our accommodation. (Dinner Included).
This morning we depart for Ottawa, Canada’s capital city. On our way, We will visit Parc Omega for a close-up look at Canadian wildlife including deer, moose, elk, wolves and more. Feeding the animals is absolutely allowed! Once we arrive in Ottawa and check into the hostel, we take a walking tour of the city and historic Parliament Hill. Ottawa is also hosting their annual winter carnival – Winterlude! This evening we’ll ice-skate on the famous Rideau Canal, the world’s longest skating rink.
After a small taste of the city yesterday, today you have a free day to explore Ottawa. Discover Winterlude – performance artists, ice sculptures, and all types of winter activities. Be sure to check out the Snowflake Kingdom, North America’s snow paradise.
After our fun filled week, it’s now time to head back to Toronto. With a stop for lunch along the way, we will arrive back in the city in the late afternoon.
Plenty of activities are included on our Snowplow tour with plenty of extras to choose from! Although we recommend trying everything here, you are always free to join the group, explore by yourself or just take some time to relax and get away from it all!

Accommodation costs are included in the price of our inclusive tour, if you have reserved a basic tour then payment is due directly to the hostels upon check-in.
